Ashleigh’s music journey began with childhood piano lessons and soon found its true rhythm in drumming. In her early 20s, she performed in cover bands, featuring in sold-out productions like The Eric Clapton Tribute Show. Her passion for percussion naturally evolved into DJing, while her dance background adds a dynamic layer to her presence as a versatile entertainer. Ashtag blends a range of genres to suit each audience, adapting to the atmosphere and making considered choices on requests. Since 2018, she has DJ’d at events throughout Cape Town, been featured on multiple radio stations, and booked for select international gigs in Africa, Asia, and Europe.
