DJ Orawan

DJ Orawan got her first taste of DJ-ing at the infamous Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan pushing on 13 years to this day. Immediately she was hooked on the driving rhythm and rumbling bass which still has her coming back for more. After moving to New Zealand in 2002 and being exposed to a fast evolving Drum and Bass scene Orawan quickly set herself up buying her first records in 2004 and hasn't looked back since.
Not content with just playing for other promoters Orawan decided to channel her love for Bass Driven music into promoting as well as DJing.
2007 saw the rise of her bi-monthly night "KINETIC" pushing the finest of local talent on the Auckland scene at FU BAR, one of the biggest clubs NZ has to offer.
She also played support on NZs Hip Hop legend KiNG KAPISI on his Hip Hop Lives Here tour through out New Zealand. She played headline shows through out South East Asia including the massive Honda music festival 2010 and 2011 with over 300,000 people in attendance, Culture One, The Full Moon Party, Bangkoks own Dubway and Yaak Party as well as play along side Thai Hip Hop pioneer - Thaitanium at Bacardi Hitz Unheard.
On top of all this, she also securing herself a residency in one of Bangkok's hottest & legendary nightclubs, Bed Supperclub and hosts one of Bangkok’s biggest monthly Drum & Bass nights "Phatfunk" and launched her Bass Music night "Bass Clef" in 2013.
