Born in South African Joy Mahlangu stage name “imdjjoy” , started mixing in 2006 in parties and lounges around Pretoria and Johannesburg, South Africa. Several years later she started producing her own music and expanding her interest in, with a focus on techno, house, afro house and other deeper sub-genres of electronic music. it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date For Joy, preforming is when she gets lost amongst the force of the crowd, projecting her persona across the room creating that united buzz.
