My name is Cara-Mi, artist alias known as Minx, I started DJ'ing around 2011 at a beach bar in Cape Town, South Africa where I honed my skills in reading the crowd and broadening my range in various mainstream styles such as EDM, Deep House and Techno. I decided to make the move towards furthering my DJ career and studied at the famous Soul Candi Institute of Music in Cape Town, gaining years of knowledge overnight by taking in as much as I could from the very experienced and seasoned lecturers.I have since performed at various outdoor festivals and clubs in SA, and currently hold residency at some of the top clubs in Cape Town which includes Shimmy Beach Club and Coco, and I have been announced to perform at Ultra South Africa in Cape Town for 2016.
