Bec was born in Adelaide, Yasmin in Darwin, both moving to Brisbane at a young age. The girls had never met before but lived behind each other for a few years throwing weekly house parties and annoying each other as unfamiliar neighbours. It wasn't until 2011 that they met through mutual friends and instantly clicked. Since then there hasn't really been a party, club or festival that these girls have been to without the other. They really were the Perfect Strangers.These girls love to party and know how to be the life of a party! Music isn't just a sound to them but a reason to get out of bed in the morning, the drive behind their everyday lives and they want to share their passion with everyone! Channelling inspiration from the likes of Acid Jacks, Afrojack, Nervo, Axwell, Krewella, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding Nero, Sebastian Ingrosso, Shockone, Nicky Romero, Will Sparks, Stafford Brothers, Zedd, TJR and many more I'm sure they will have something to get anyone on their feet.An early indication they were high achievers saw them tie for first place in the Beats in Bovine Competition at the Normanby. Winning the competition saw their fan base sky rocket after being invited back to perform at the 5 Ways Festival and supporting the very talented Will Sparks at the July Normfest. Soon after they competed in the Brisbane Your Shot 2013 Competition where they were taught industry tricks from renowned DJ Nick Galea. These girls know how to get a dance-floor pumping with their hands in the air energy behind the decks. Perfect Strangers are sure to get any dance-floor rocking.
