Full-Time Student at SAE Institute | Bachelor of Audio (Current)| Audio Engineer - Record, Mix & Mastering | Diploma Songwriting & Music Production | Producer | Composer | Stage Management | Event & Talent Management Experience |
Born and raised in Far North Queensland, 17-year-old Codey relocated to Brisbane with aspirations to work within the Music Industry.
Prior to SAE I studied a Diploma in Music Business Management at JMC Academy. Within my studies I was able to gain experience in Stage, Talent and Event Management. Through this I had the opportunity to manage a small Punk-Rock band and co-produce/event manage several events, hosting my individual event towards the end of my studies.
Currently, with years of corporate/government experience, I am seeking the entrepreneurial experience where I can Freelance Engineer, Produce, Stage, Event & Talent Manage alongside my studies.
Being early in my musical journey I am still finding joy in creating in a wide range of genres and styles. Upon my profile you will find Hip-Hop/R&B to Reggaeton, to Film and Game Scores, however, I am eager to continue creating in unfamiliar areas. From here, I have developed a niché for producing in Hip-Hop and Rnb.
Since completing a Diploma in Music Production, I have now transferred over to the Bachelor of Audio where I will continue the remainder of my studies developing and refining my Audio Engineering Skills. Specifically, I will enhance my abilities of a Recording, Mixing, and Mastering Engineer.
So, come along with me as I continue to discover who I am as a creative, and as an individual where I will learn and experiment with a wide range of textures, sounds, recording and mixing techniques.
