Vanessa Forero is a film/TV composer, once based in London, now scores from her self-build studio in the mountains of Colombia. Since 2004 she has worked on a mixture of feature films, shorts, documentaries and adverts, with film festival and cinema screenings as well as broadcasts on major channels world wide, working with the Liverpool Philharmonic and winning 'best score' from the Hollywood mini-cinema awards for sci-fi movie 'ABE'.
Aside from scoring, Forero also produces her own records, the solo piano album 'Paintings on Piano' as well as her south-americana singer-songwriter artist side, touring worldwide and playing from the backs of Colombian bars to Abbey Road studio 1. Her last 16-date tour sold-out within a few weeks, now a follow-up tour is coming to the UK this autumn.
Forero is also co-author of the book she wrote about her mother "The Girl With No Name", which became the National Geographic documentary: "Woman Raised By Monkeys", for which Forero scored part of the soundtrack. A movie is in talks.
