MELANIE RIBBE

The German Jamaican Melanie Ribbe may have begun her career as a model, but she has since established herself as a multi-talented artist with an intense passion for music. After gracing runways and ad campaigns across the globe, Ribbe turned her attention to music full time and enrolled in the London Academy of Music Production. She has since gone on to join an esteemed roster of fellow producers, as well taking regular stints behind the decks at one of dance music’s most esteemed venues: Amnesia Ibiza, followed by gigs at Cova Santa Ibiza & Fabrik Madrid, Miami Music Week to name a few; and started doing successful world tours with incredible support of the people, where she gained name as the “Angel of Techno”. Taking cues from her time growing up on Jamaica’s sandy shores, she is focusing all her extra time from touring on her own music productions. Her sound bounces between the more minimal and groovy sounds of techno and the sexy grooves of tech-house, all while retaining a funky edge that sets her apart from the rest. The future looks bright for Ribbe; her passion and determination seem set to carry her to the top.
